What about the Allwave 8'6" L as another choice? The new Allwave shapes have gone with thinner rails, so I'm leaning towards these new shapes over the 8'6" model. Niek van der Linde. I need it for waves we dont have so often in Greece and for paddling for small distances. But again, at your weight and experience I believe the 8'3" should be sufficient.
